The state enterprise “Post of Moldova” announced on Friday that it will temporarily stop sending parcels and letters to Russia, the news portal NewsMaker.md reports.
Representatives of the Moldovan company noted that the process was stopped due to the “impossibility of sending mail for this purpose.”
“Dear clients, I.S. The Post of Moldova informs that from May 19, 2023, it will temporarily stop accepting all postal items (EMS, letter mail, parcels) to the Russian Federation,” the company’s message to citizens says.
The Post Office of the Republic of Moldova also assures that it is making efforts to “as soon as possible find a solution for resuming the process of receiving and sending postal items to the Russian Federation.”
