“Starting on May 19, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., individuals ONLY from the Bucharest – Ilfov region who wish to register in the computer program for the Photoelectric Greenhouse Program can do so by following this link, the Environment Fund Administration said.

Individuals from other regions will be able to register according to the calendar established by the institution.

“The applicant’s registration will take place by filling in predefined fields and uploading the necessary documents.

Documents must be valid at the time of registration in the application. Documents uploaded during application registration cannot be changed or re-uploaded later,” the Administrator also sent.

Environment Minister Tanchos Barna said that this is one of the most popular and anticipated funding programs.

“We offer financing in the amount of 20,000 lei for each applicant, subject to the beneficiary’s own contribution of 2,000 lei. The total budget of the program is 1.75 billion lei, which is equivalent to more than 87,000 photovoltaic systems,” Tanchos Barna said on Thursday.

He explained why it was decided to register by region: “Given the very large number of applicants and to no longer require a computer program, we decided to launch the registration session in 8 stages, one for each development region of Romania. Starting tomorrow and ending on May 23, the session will be open to residents of the Bucharest-Ilfov region.”
