Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Borna Coric in the quarters in Rome

Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified in the penultimate act of the tournament in Rome.

The athlete from Greece, who is ranked 5th in the ATP hierarchy, defeated Borna Coric (16 ATP) in two sets in a match that ended in one hour and 37 minutes.

Tsitsipas dominated both sets and deserved to qualify in the ace box, which also features Holger Roon (7 ATP), Kasper Ruud (4 ATP) and Daniil Medvedev (3 ATP).

Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet with Medvedev for a place in the grand final.

The Rome Masters takes place from May 10 to 21 on clay, is part of the ATP 1000 category, has a total prize pool of €7,705,780, Novak Djokovic is the reigning champion and Rafael Nadal holds the record for titles at the Italian Forum (10).
