At least three people died in Myanmar and several were injured in neighboring Bangladesh, where the worst consequences were avoided. The Myanmar Meteorological Office said Moka made landfall near the town of Sittwe with winds up to 209 km/h. By Monday morning it had dropped and was steadily weakening over land.
