Liverpool romped to a convincing 3-0 away win at Leicester City in the Premier League matchday 36 and are still hoping to be in a position to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The Cormorants largely settled the match in the first half after Curtis Jones’ brace in the 33rd and 36th minutes, both from Mohamed Salah’s assists.

The Egyptian also provided a short pass for Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goal in the 71st minute, which went straight into Leicester’s net.

With two rounds to go before the end of the season, Jurgen Klopp’s side are in fifth place in the Premier League, just one point away from the Champions League spots.

Instead, Leicester is relegated to the Championship, occupying the penultimate place in the ranking.
