Road traffic will be restricted during the weekend in the capital during the Bucharest International Cross and Half Marathon 2023 and the Food Truck Festival, the Road Brigade reports.

On Saturday, the People’s 2.5km Wheelchair Run (people with disabilities) will start at 08:45 and the People’s 2.5km Run will start at 09:00.

Competition route: side of Piaţa Constituţiei (General Prosecutor’s Office) – right Bd.Unirii – turn 180 degrees at the pedestrian crossing, from the intersection with Splaiul Independenţei (without restricting traffic from the intersection) – continue Bd.Unirii – right side of Piaţa Constituţiei (Ministry of Finance) – on the right Bd. Libertăţii – turn 180 degrees at the intersection with Bd. Naţiuţi Unite (without obstructing traffic from the intersection) – continue along Bd. Libertăţii – turn 180 degrees at the intersection with Calea 13 Septembrie (without affecting traffic at the intersection) – continue along Bd.

From 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., there will be eight children’s races (from 0.9 km to 1.4 km).

Competition route: side of Piaţa Constituţiei (General Prosecutor’s Office) – right Bd.Unirii – turn 180 degrees at the pedestrian crossing, from the intersection with Splaiul Independenţei (without obstructing the traffic from the intersection) – continue Bd.Unirii – left on st. shoulder of Piaţa Constitution (General Prosecutor’s Office).

At 10:00, the Baby Race starts, which will take place in a tent on Constitution Square at a distance of 4,195 meters.

On Sunday, there will be a 10 km race – wheelchairs (persons with disabilities) from 08:45, and a 21K Race & Relay 10 km from 09:00.

For the smooth running of the sports event, traffic will be restricted on the event routes: Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (popular race route + children’s race); Saturday, 15:00 – Sunday, 14:30, on Libertăţii boulevard (between Piaţa Constituţiei stretchers, direction from Calea 13 Septembrie to Naţiuţione Unite boulevard) – finishing of the finish area; Saturday, 16:30 – Sunday, 14:30, on Libertăţii Blvd (in both directions from Splaiul Independenţei and Bd. Naționia Unite) – starting area plan; Sunday, from 07.30 to 13.30 (race route 21 kilometers).

Movement restrictions will be applied/increased gradually as measures are deployed.

Also on the weekend from 09:00 to 23:00 the event “Food Truck Festival” will be held on the road. Pavlo Dmytrovych Kiselyov.
