In fact, as noted, “if for any reason the above procedure is impossible to comply with or its implementation causes delays in the voting process, at the discretion of the chairman of the election commission, the identification of voters is carried out on the basis of their police certificate or an appropriate temporary certificate from the competent authority, or your passport, or driver’s license, or an individual medical card of all insurance funds.

It is noted that any “cropped” identity cards are acceptable. In particular, with regard to passports, it is stated that an expired Greek passport is also sufficient.”
