If the price of fuel is falling rapidly everywhere in Europe, despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, this is not the case in France. Gasoline and diesel are still very expensive in our country, and that doesn’t seem to change, even if the government is annoyed by the situation. The latter would even like to act to stop it. But in the meantime we must deal very high prices at the service station, which obviously greatly complicates the life of motorists. So much so that it even encourages some to turn to the side of illegality…
Europe has agreed to phase out the use of heat engines by 2035. However, the fuel tax is an important source of revenue for the French state. https://t.co/M17WH4kOC3

A great pity
Indeed, complaints of fuel theft have been on the rise for several months. At issue is the price of diesel and unleaded petrol, as well as a shortage that prompts some to steal it to resell at a higher price. And there are those who do not skimp on the means, even if it means a great risk if they are caught. This especially applies to the heroes of our story, who do nothing by halves. The case happened this Monday, May 8, in Calvados, in Normandy. At 12:43, the head of the construction site in Livorot called the gendarmerie to inform the police about the theft.
A heavy sentence?
The latter reports that the fuel has been stolen. 6 utility vehicles are being repaired on city roads“. In general and after the survey it is more than 1,000 liters were stolen in just one weekend. And all this without breaking through tanks. A report was filed and the thieves are still being sought. They should get a very heavy sentence when caught, probably quite quickly given the amount of stolen fuel.
