
At least 52 people have been injured in an accident on the A12 motorway in Brandenburg, eastern Germany.
The accident occurred between the cities of Storkov and Friedersdorf, according to the German news agency (dpa), citing police sources.
A tanker heading towards Berlin tried to change lanes and, after colliding head-on with a truck, collided head-on with a Polish tour bus.
Traffic along the highway was temporarily stopped, and a strong fire brigade, ambulances and three helicopters arrived at the scene.
Ten of the wounded, taken to the hospital, are in serious condition, one of them is fighting for survival.
