The Health and Wellness Program Ready for Work, Fit for Life aims to implement activities that help employees improve their physical condition, benefiting them both at work and in their personal lives, focusing on four key actions that people need to maintain balance in their lives, personal, physical, mental and emotional well-being.

During the pandemic, the program has stepped up initiatives for employee health and wellness. Initiatives include expert advice, on-site healthy menus, exercise, vaccinations, cancer screening, and stress-reduction activities such as mindfulness sessions and a helpline.

The Certified International Professional Program is a comprehensive training program that offers a variety of modules that equip DHL Express employees with the knowledge they need to feel motivated to provide the highest quality service to their customers every day. Since the launch of this program in 2010, the employee engagement rate has increased from 68% in 2010 to 92% in 2021.

Appreciation Week: Each year, the company dedicates an entire week to creatively thank employees for their vital contributions to its success.

As part of the Pole2Pole initiative, the company invited the most trained employees to run and/or ski on Poles to raise awareness about climate change.
