In particular, the bank has started financing in the amount of 225 million euros the Hersonissos – Neapolis section of the 90 (A90) motorway, also known as the Northern Road Axis of Crete (BOAC), with a percentage share of 50%, together with the Eurobank (50%), taking over simultaneously the role of coordinator of the general contractor. The project, 22.5 kilometers long and costing more than 285 million euros, stretches between the cities of Hersonissos Heraklion and Neapolis Lasithi and is expected to be completed in 2027.
