The pair of Azarenka and Haddad Maia won the WTA Madrid doubles final

In a match that lasted only one hour and seven minutes, Victoria Azarenka and Beatrice Haddad Maia won in two sets with the score 6-1, 6-4.

The favorites of the tournament, Americans Coco Gauf and Jessica Pegula, beat Gabriel Ruse (Romania) / Marta Kostiuk (Ukraine) in the semifinals with a score of 7-5, 7-6(5).

With this victory, Azarenka won her tenth doubles title, while Beatrice Haddad Maia won five finals.

The WTA Mutua Madrid Open takes place from April 25 to May 7 on clay in the Caja Magica complex. It is part of the WTA 1000 category and has a total prize pool of $7,652,174. Gabriela Dabrovsky (Canada) and Juliana Olmos (Mexico) became the doubles champions.
