In the “final” SEF will judge the Final-4

Everyone will now be judged by the SEF. Olympiacos lost one of their two cushions, losing 73-69 to Fenerbahçe in the fourth game of the Euroleague playoffs between them, the Turks equalized the series with a score of 2-2, and now qualifying for the Final 4 Kaunas. will be played in the “final” next Tuesday.

The Red-Whites could not find themselves in shape for the next match with Fener. The one that they had in the games of the main duration of the competition, as well as in the first match of the series at their “home”. Since then, they have shown several weaknesses, such as rebounding in a game that Itoudis’ team drew 1-1.

Even in the game with Sluky’s winning 3-pointer in the last seconds, Olympiacos had gaps, but they “hid under the mat” after Fener’s half-time break.

WITHin the fourth match, Olympiacos was hurt by their offense as their players missed a lot of easy shots (only 7/25 three-pointers, 28%), and Fener hit his “big” baskets at the end and eventually won the victory that kept them alive in the series.

Like the game that took place a few days ago at the same stadium, today’s game is one of those that characterize this event. Both teams were close in scores to the final, with the defenses being the protagonists, with Olympiacos going into the dressing room for the break, leading 33–32.

In the 3rd quarter, the Red-Whites managed to keep the lead, even reaching +5 (38-43) on 24′. However, consistent errors afterwards and poor offensive choices gave Fener the right to wipe out the difference at first and eventually take a 54–49 lead on 32 feet thanks to Hayes’ two three-pointers.

Olympiacos reacted to McKissick’s accuracy and with a partial 2–9 score, they took a 58–56 lead again in the 34th minute. But the new “stickiness” in the attack gave Fener the right to increase the difference to +6 (67-61) in the 37th minute. At this point, the Red-Whites missed an important opportunity to return to the match, because with the score 67-63 in favor of the Turks, Papanicolaou missed a three-pointer without any problems, and Dorsey hit from the 6.75m line and made 70-63. Two McKissick 3-pointers in a row made it 73-69, but Olympiacos ran out of time and will now be chasing a trip to Kaunas in the final on Tuesday.
