
Tensions rose at a meeting of the Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in the city of Türkiyebetween Russian and Ukrainian officials.
In particular, it all started with the fact that the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Alexander Marikovsky raised the Ukrainian flag behind the back of a member of the Russian delegation, Olga Timofeeva, making statements on camera.
At a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) in the Turkish capital Ankara, a scuffle broke out between Ukrainian and Russian delegates.

Then another member of the Russian team, Valery Stavitsky, snatched the flag from the hands of a Ukrainian official.
Soon after, the two men come face to face, and Alexander Marikovsky attacks Valery Stavitsky when he tries to wrest the flag from him.
Earlier in the day, tensions arose between members of the Ukrainian delegation and security officials who tried to remove them as they protested, shouting and raising flags next to the head of the Russian delegation as she tried to speak.
Images of the Turkish National Assembly’s President Mustafa Sedop were posted on the website of the Turkish National Assembly, condemning such behavior, which “disrupts the peaceful environment that Turkey is trying to create.”
