Although some manufacturers have been affected more than others, unfortunately, no one can avoid recall campaigns. And honestly, it’s nothing to worry about, as it means they’re taking preventative measures to prevent the problem from becoming more serious and endangering users and other people on the road. And even luxury brands not spared as the Ferrari was the subject of a campaign a few months ago due to a brake fluid reservoir problem. In short, it can happen to anyone, even the manufacturers that are considered the most reliable on the market. Because sometimes the consequences can be serious.

Important reminder
Jeep is in the news today, as the manufacturer is organizing a massive recall campaign for its Wrangler. Be careful, though, because this measure only applies to the plug-in hybrid version for now. In general, it is no less 62,909 vehicles collected between September 2, 2020 and August 17, 2022 that will be affected. Please note that this campaign is currently only for the United States and that the French market is currently not affected. But later it may well change. But what is the reason for this recall?
Loss of power
That concern applies this time transmission module control software, as well as a hybrid system and an auxiliary control processor. This results in a loss of power when the vehicle is moving, at a constant speed, or when accelerating. A concern that has already caused two accidents and one fatality. If Jeep later organizes a campaign in France, owners will be informed directly from the manufacturer. The latter will undertake all repair work.
