University of Cluj and Petrolul Ploiesti are banned from European Cups

Petrolul Ploiești, FC Hermannstadt, Universitatea Cluj, Chindia Târgoviște and CS Mioveni are first-echelon teams that did not meet the licensing criteria.

Cluj has qualified for the final of the Romanian Cup, and if successful, fourth place in the Super League playoffs will qualify for the Conference League.

And “Petrolul” is in a similar situation, if they finish in one of the first two places in the play-out, “Ploiesti” would have the opportunity to play in the play-offs of the European Cups.
