Patrick Muratoglu demands that Simona Halep be convicted as soon as possible in the doping process

The Constanta-born athlete was extremely disappointed that she could not play in any tournaments and that the ITF was still delaying the doping trial.

Shortly after Halep’s big interview with Tennis Majors, Patrick Muratoglu (her last WTA coach) posted a message on her personal Instagram account.

“After 7 months of ITF suspension, Simona Halep demands the right to be judged.

In December, she provided the ITF with all the evidence of the additive contamination. He is only asking for a hearing as soon as possible, and he has every right to it,” his post reads Muratoglu from social networks.

  • Simona’s case will be heard by Sport Resolutions, an independent court in London that hears doping cases in white sport.
  • However, if innocence cannot be proven, Simone has one more appeal: the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
  • It will be recalled that the maximum suspension that Halep could receive is 4 years.
