The proposal was formulated by Monica Gubernat, a member of the CNA, writes Pagina de Media. There was also a proposal from Mircea Tom to interrupt the Romanian TV program for ten minutes, but the vote passed the fine.

  • “I want to make it clear that I am making this proposal with reference to the legal framework, to the fines received for violating article 47 of 4 of this post, and especially to the history that this institution has in the application of this article, which, frankly, , not fair, because I don’t think I fined more than 20,000 lei (…)
  • My proposal is 100,000 and I want it to be remembered that this is the largest monetary fine that the CNA proposes for violating Article 47,” said the governor, as quoted by Pagina de Media.

The National Audiovisual Council discussed on Tuesday the reports made in the case of Victor Chutac’s show on Romanian television, where the death of journalist Julia Marin was qualified with phrases such as: “These people have mental disorders, they were the production of press materials”, “Pero Miss Marin – a weapon Which used dishonestly can destroy fortunes”, “Wrongly advertised as a media experiment” or “I would not allow a person with mental problems to work for me”.

Viktor Chutaku also took part in the meeting, who supported the same theses, accused CNA members of being impartial, complained that he was called to be accused and constantly interrupted CNA members, so the meeting turned into chaos.

The CNA meeting, in which Viktor Chutaku gave an ironic reply to the Council members, ended abruptly, without ending, the broadcast on the Facebook page was stopped.

After receiving several reports, CNA analyzed two Romanian television shows from April 19 and 20. The journalist’s death was qualified in Viktor Chutaka’s show with phrases like: “These people are mentally ill, they made materials for the press,” “Miss Marin’s pen is a weapon. Which used dishonestly can destroy fortunes”, “Wrongly advertised as a media experiment” or “I would not allow a person with mental problems to work for me”.

Since last Thursday, dozens of newsrooms (including HotNews.ro), journalists, medical associations, non-governmental organizations and activists from Romania have signed an appeal against the hate speech and discrimination practiced by Romanian television after the death of journalist Julia Marin.

On Friday, after the launch of an appeal against hate speech from Romanian television, Victor Čutaku was the first to react: “The Ringier Trust has in its archives medical documents required by law, according to which, after repeated hospitalizations in Obregia, its former employee was fit for health. do I do the work?”.

  • Victor Chutaku’s first reaction after the attacks in the case of the death of journalist Yulia Marin

On Saturday, a violent reaction with harsh accusations was published on the website romaniatv.net.

In the article entitled “QED The official position of the Romanian television in the case of Julia Marin (journalist who committed suicide) and Catalin Tolontan – Libertatea (the editor-in-chief who familiarized herself with the labor law and the decision of Julia Marin’s doctor)” signed by Alina Kostake, in the article , posted on the online television platform, talks about the medical problems of the deceased journalist and blames the editorial office of Libertatea. along with Katalin Tolontan that he helped her “kill herself”.

  • Delusional reaction to RomaniaTV.net after TV misses: “Complaint to CNA and petition signed by Sorosist cadres aimed at censoring Viktor Chutaku”

The article, written in a very aggressive tone, in an informal form with repetition of punctuation marks and full of personal assessments, claims that “The scandal started by Tolontan and the editors of Libertatea!!! (we don’t think that all journalists there support Tolontan) had only one goal: to block the investigation of Viktor Chutaka, hiding the legal and moral responsibility of the editor-in-chief Katalin Tolontan.”
