
What do businessmen like Dan Shuku, Pavlo brothers or Ion Cyriak have in common? In addition to the businesses they have been successful with, they have all added real estate businesses to their portfolios in recent years. They did this either to reinvest profits from other ventures or to obtain capital for the core business. And now, despite the rise in the price of building materials, real estate remains an option for shelter from a possible recession even for the wealthiest entrepreneurs.
“Investments in real estate in Romania will be promising for another 20 years. In European real estate, you will not find such low prices as the prices in Romania,” assures Ion Cyriac, one of the most famous domestic businessmen. Cyriac’s advice did not come by accident. Recently, he solemnly opened an office building that bears his name and is located in the zero zone of the capital, on Victory Square. All, after an investment of 40 million euros.
Čširiac is not the first real estate investment. He developed the Stejarii complex in the north of the capital, and the second phase of the project will only have apartments for rent. However, he also plans to build houses in Timisoara and Brasov, where he already owns land. In addition to all this, he hopes to see his dream with his own eyes and build a 50-story office tower.
Shortly before the pandemic, another entrepreneur with proven experience, George Kopos, inaugurated a 25-story tower in the northern part of the capital with 1,300 square meters of commercial space and 400 parking spaces…
