Androulakis: “Mitsotakis and Tsipras are responsible for the operation of the digital parastate”

The President of PASOK-Movement for Change has been touring Lesbos since the early morning. Nikos Androulakis.

In their statements about development of the case of Alexis Georgoulis, Mr. Androulakis noted: “The protection of human rights is the priority of every civilized society. Therefore, I find it unimaginable what is happening on the Internet, and not only in the last few hours.

“Mr. Mitsotakis and Mr. Tsipras are solely responsible for running the digital parastate, the hoodies, the digital gangs that target the identities of the people they either see as an obstacle to their plans or for their own reasons. .”

“I believe that every democrat and progressive citizen has a duty to oppose this inhuman practice. This is a practice that does not deserve a European country. They don’t deserve a Greece of democracy, a Greece of fighting for the rule of law. Therefore, we have an obligation to confront all those who do not understand that many years have passed since these practices were adopted. We have the strength to stand up to this digital parastate that undermines all concepts of the rule of law and human rights.”

ABOUT immigrant refugeeMr. Androulakis noted:

“The main issue is the agreements that we conclude regarding the problem of immigration and refugees. I know the problem very well. Since 2015, I have also participated as a member of the European Parliament. We were the ones who started the project at Evros. But these political decisions alone are not enough. Mr. Mitsotakis singles out the fence because he cannot say that he has not made efforts to revise the Dublin Regulation for four years.

Under the Dublin Regulation, the first country of entry is responsible for granting asylum. There were European Parliament initiatives for a new fair policy on refugees, but they were frozen by Mr Mitsotakis’ associates during Mr Kurz’s Austrian presidency.

For anyone crossing EU borders, an asylum application must be made in all EU states. and not only the first country is responsible. Then there should be a permanent resettlement program based on fair criteria, population and economic condition of the country, and not begging for such programs. This would be a comprehensive policy, which, unfortunately, has not been implemented. The New Democracy government is responsible because in order to get along with the right-wing governments of Europe that don’t want to overhaul Dublin, they have made Pontius Pilate over the past four years.

So, on the one hand, we are against the policy of no borders at sea, which was pursued by Mr. Tsipras, on the other hand, we consider it unthinkable the strategy of our country not to try to revise the Dublin Regulations.

President of PASOK-Movement for Change with reference to local government issuesemphasized:

“Of course, the self-government has many problems. Especially the first class needs more support. PASOK, as you know, is the party that gave birth to self-government with its legislative initiatives. This is what we strive to do in the future, because you are getting closer to the citizen and you should be able to serve them in the best possible way.
way”.

PASOK vs the thorns SYRIZA

PASOK-Movement for Change is back with new outbursts against SYRIZA and Alexis Tsipras in connection with comments and reports from official opposition party officials on the Georgoulis case.

The press service of PASOK-KINAL stated in its commentary that the warning in yesterday’s announcement to “start extinguishing” was misjudged by SYRIZA.

“Does Mr. Tsipras today feel the need to apologize for his party’s candidate for second place in Thessaloniki, Anastasia Gaitartsi, who describes a serious criminal case involving their MEP as “rigged”?

Indeed, what feelings are born in him when reading the public position of a member of the Larissa Prefectural Committee of his party, Vasilisa Migi?”

PASOK also responds to the head of the Eurogroup SYRIZA, Dimitris Papadimoulis, who in his statements today made it clear that Nikos Androulakis had advance knowledge of the complaint.

And concludes: “The President of PASOK-Movement for Change, as well as the family of the victim, learned of this tragic event on Easter Monday. Mr. Papadimoulis himself is invited to answer us:

– How did you investigate the rumors about the MEP SYRIZA?

– Was Mr. Georgoulis’s statement, in which he quickly refers to political persecution and leaves unacceptable insinuations about the timing of the request for the lifting of his immunity, expressing the Eurogroup SYRIZA and the official opposition?
