Spain seems to be open to the idea of ​​open relationships, as almost half of Spaniards are positive about having more than one sexual partner at the same time.

According to a survey conducted by the Spanish institute “Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas”, more than 47% of respondents said they agree or strongly agree with the idea of ​​an “open relationship”.

Also, over 41% of Spaniards said they wouldn’t mind their partners having sex with other people outside of the relationship.

“Yes” to open relationships, but also … love

However, despite the above percentages, the Spaniards do not lose romance.

Nearly 70% of respondents agree that “true love can conquer all”, and 80% said that if someone truly loves their partner, they will be faithful to him forever.

Also, the vast majority of Spaniards are not so much concerned with appearance, education, but with the economic status of the partner they fall in love with.

It is noted that the CIS is a state organization that measures public opinion on sociological issues. For this particular study, 2,500 citizens were interviewed. In addition to questions about romantic relationships, CIS citizens were also asked if they were happy in the family. About 41% rated the question a 10 out of 10, compared to 31% who are completely satisfied with their friendship and 37% with their partner.
