According to freelance journalist Daniel Radu, these are Iryna Begu (37 WTA), Sorana Kirstea (41 WTA), Ana Bohdan (57 WTA) and Patricia Sig (707 WTA, protected rating rule used).

Simona Halep, suspended for doping, will participate in Roland Garros only if she receives a wildcard from the organizers. Athletes who qualify will also enter the main draw.

The former WTA number one (2018 champion and 2014 and 2017 finalist) missed only the Grand Slam event in Paris in 2021 when she announced her defeat due to a calf injury.
