Russian Andriy Rublev reached the finals of the tournament in Monte Carlo. The player, who is ranked 6th in the ATP hierarchy, defeated Taylor Fritz in 3 sets with the score 5-7, 6-1, 6-3.

Although at some point the match was interrupted due to rain, Andriy Rublev received tickets to the Monte Carlo Masters final.

Rublev, who is ranked 6th in the ATP rankings, managed to turn the tide with Taylor Fritz (10 ATP) and finish the match in two hours and 10 minutes.

The Russian surprisingly lost the first set despite leading 3 times, but made an impressive comeback in the second set to drop just one game.

Once the game was interrupted by rain, Rublev also offered a moment of amusement, saying that his mobile phone did not indicate there would be any problems during the match.

In the deciding set, Rublev continued his spectacular game and controlled his opponent, so victory was only a matter of time.
