After defeating Napoli in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Milan failed to capitalize on the away game with Bologna (1-1) and remained just one point behind Renato Dall’Ara.

Bologna, excellent result with champions Milan

The team coached by Stefano Pioli suffered in the 30th round of Serie A.

The titular champion failed to win this time and ended with two consecutive draws in the Italian championship.

The guests started the match against Bologna in the worst possible way and conceded after just a minute. Nicola Sansone broke the ice with the only shot on goal for the home team in the first half to make it 3 for the season.

Italy’s Tommaso Pobega restored parity in the 40th minute to set up the final score of the game, despite both teams wasting chances in the second half.

Thus, Milan’s place in the Champions League remains in question even after this stage.
