In Crete for Easter, PASOK President N. Androulakis

“At present, we have an obligation to defend meritocracy, transparency, social justice, and I find it unacceptable even in these holy days, just before the announcement of elections, to meet with clientelist sentiment from the government and appoint the heads of all the museums of the country,” he said in a statement. PASOK-KINAL President Nikos Androulakis, who earlier in the morning on Holy Saturday met in the center of Heraklion and exchanged wishes with party candidates.

As Mr. Androulakis stated, the appointment of the museum’s administration is “unfortunately, another decision by the government of Mr. Mitsotakis, which proves that their priority is the client state, and not the transparency and meritocracy that the Greek people so crave.”

Mr. Androulakis, who is in his special homeland, Crete, for the Easter holidays, had the opportunity to get to know the inhabitants of Heraklion closely and exchange wishes with them.

“With the Resurrection of Christ, health, well-being to all Orthodox Greeks, to the entire Greek people,” said the President of PASOK-KINAL in his speech.
