Jacqueline Christian defeats Tamara Zidansek at the Billie Jean King Cup

Jacqueline Christian respected her title in straight matches against Tamara Zidansek and managed to win at the end of the match, which lasted 2 hours and 6 minutes.

The athlete, who is ranked 180th in the WTA ranking, played an exceptional first set and did not lose a single game against the opponent, whom she had beaten 3 times in straight meetings.

In the second act, they battled back and forth until the score was tied at 4-4, before the Slovenian won the next two games to take the set.

A decisive set was needed, and the Romanian proved to have the strongest nerves. Even though Tamara Zidansek was leading 3-2 at one point, Jacqueline Christian came back and put an end to the game 56 minutes into the third set.
