Earlier in the morning, Mr. Herapetritis held a meeting with the Mayor of Heraklion and the Governor of the region, which focused on the development of major projects on the island, which he said will “change Crete for the next decades” and that this infrastructure “will improve the island so that it could be a cultural product not only for tourism, but mainly for the daily lives of the people it serves.”

Yesterday, Mr. Gerapetritis had contacts at the Research Technology Foundation, which, he stressed, “highlights the extroversion of the Greek university and the research community.”

Regarding the vote for the “New Democracy” in Heraklion, he stressed that this is a vote for renewal, in which young people, coming from society, have appeared through their trial work, a representative vote, because it highlights all layers, all professional prerequisites with significant participation of women” and that “this vote will give good results for Crete, New Democracy, and also for the country in terms of training of political personnel”.
