The introductory new salaries of the hotel staff from January 1, 2023, after a 5.5% increase, range from 835 to 911 euros, and then add: 10% marriage allowance, school allowance, nights, holidays and seniority. That is, the gross salary of a hotel worker with 10 years of work experience is approximately 1200 euros. In fact, for those already working in hotels that are paid lower wages, making the contract binding is expected to result in a retroactive increase of 4 months.
