There is increased traffic on the rise of Kifissos Avenue due to a traffic accident that occurred shortly after 11 am at the height of Dirrakio Street.

According to the traffic police, due to a traffic accident, the movement of vehicles in the right lane was stopped for some time, resulting in a multi-kilometer queue. All lanes are now open.

The accident involved a car and a motorcycle, as a result of which the driver of the motorcycle was injured.

More than 100 thousand cars left Attica

From Holy Monday, the departure of Easter excursions began, gradually leaving Attica for the provinces.

A total of 108,301 vehicles left Attica from 6 a.m. on Holy Monday until 6 a.m. this morning, according to the Attica Traffic Authority.

25,389 vehicles passed through the Athena-Lamia exit on Maundy Monday and 26,960 vehicles on Maundy Tuesday. During the same days last year, 23,4222 and 25,219 cars were missing, respectively.
