Audi: intelligent energy management

This new charging station from Audi is equipped with a buffer drive, consisting of second-life batteries from old Audi test electric cars. Thanks to an intelligent and dynamic charging control system, they charge when the FrischeParadies need little energy. Thanks to this trick, Audi’s charging center does away with the expensive transformers needed to operate fast charging stations and makes optimal use of the existing infrastructure to deliver the required energy at any time of the day.

Audi: four fast charging points
