The Metropolitan Police announced in a press release Tuesday that police have executed four search warrants in Dambowitz County in connection with an aggravated burglary case. As a result of the searches, two suspects were arrested and will be brought to court.
According to the quoted source, on November 3, 2022, the police of the 25th section received a notification that unknown persons broke into an apartment in the 6th sector, where they stole a safe containing approximately 500,000 euros.
Sources in the court told HotNews.ro that the suspects are a man and a woman who allegedly went “for a seagull”. They would have learned from a relative of the victim that the apartment was uninhabited, and there was a safe with money in it. They watched the area for a while, then tried to get in with a key that broke in the lock, so they went to the landfill.
The same sources report that during the searches, about 500,000 euros stolen were not found, presumably they spent it on food and other entertainment.
Cited judicial sources also report that the victim is a woman who is a sex worker in the Netherlands.
