Sharp response to Finance Minister Christos Staikouras for his stance on his plan SYRIZA-PSto protect the first residence, commercial housing and agricultural land, was provided by the head of the financial department, Efi Ahtsioglu, describing it as “funds representative“.

In her statement, she states that Mr. Staikouras “is a minister of the Mitsotakis government who:

– all protection of the first residence is abolished,

-established a bankruptcy system that liquidates the assets of citizens and leads to the auctioning of the first houses,

– legislatively extrajudicial system, so that citizens do not settle their debts, without any obligations for funds and banks,

– legally supported uncontrolled, tax-free and speculative activities of funds into which bad loans from banks were transferred,

-an increase in private debt by 40 billion,

– was indifferent to the abuses and dishonest actions of foundations that destroy the daily life of citizens,

– he did not know, did not check, did not deal with Mr. Patsis and Mr. Papatanasis.
