The competent Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Giorgia Adelini, responsible for the protection of minors, on the order of the Lefkada juvenile prosecutor’s office, demands increased monitoring of the 12-year-old child by Column.

EL.AS also released a report about the attack on a 12-year-old girl from Kolonos earlier, which, in part, states that the case is examined by the competent authorities with due diligence in order to accurately establish the facts.

According to the police, early Monday morning (03.04) a relative of a 12-year-old girl complained on the phone that an unknown person attacked the minor in the house where she lives.

The competent police services were immediately mobilized and the juvenile testified about the incident in the presence of a psychologist, and an order was issued for a forensic medical examination. At the same time, the place where the alleged incident took place was investigated by the competent criminal investigation department.

It is noted that, according to EL.AS., the specified house was regularly examined by assigned patrols, however, it was not under constant guard due to the failure to submit the relevant request provided for by the current legislation.

12 year old wants to name new faces

Recall that one of the lawyers for the family of 12-year-old Antonia Legaki today filed a new petition with the investigator in the case of the girl giving additional evidence about persons who have not yet been prosecuted, but who participated in the sexual violence she was subjected to.

A. Legaki went to the investigation department, where she repeated the request of the 12-year-old girl to give additional testimony. The request was filed again about ten days ago by another lawyer, Aspazija Tarahopoulou, but was rejected by the bailiff as indeterminate.

The girl again asks to testify, as she claims that she can name and point out to the authorities 6-7 persons who raped her, who remained outside the circle of the accused.

The two lawyers, as well as the child’s mother’s side, estimate that the recent assaults received by the child, as well as his adult brother, are related to the victim’s intent to name new participants in what he has suffered.

It is noted that for the attack with a knife, which received a 12-year-old girl, her relative filed a lawsuit against all perpetrators in the competent police department.
