
A 12-year-old girl who was hit by a car yesterday afternoon in Nea Samsouda, Preveza, is being intubated in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the University Hospital of Patras.
The girl got off the KTEL school bus. When he tried to cross the road, he was dragged under unclear circumstances by a car driven by a 23-year-old woman.
The driver was detained, but on the prosecutor’s oral order he was released. The Preveza Traffic Department is conducting a preliminary investigation into the case.
The student was rushed by EKAV ambulance to Preveza Hospital where she was intubated. After that, he was transferred to the University Hospital of Patras.
