Rafael Nadal will not play in the ATP Monte Carlo tournament, which he has won 11 times

Rafa is still recovering from a hip injury he suffered at the Australian Open and is unsure when he will be ready to return to the track.

“I am not yet ready to perform at the highest level. I will not be able to play in one of the most important tournaments in my career, Monte Carlo. I am not yet in a condition to play with maximum guarantees, and I continue the training process, hoping to return soon” – Rafael Nadal on Twitter.

The “Matador” will likely want to be at his best at Roland Garros, where he will try to win his 15th title.

Rafael Nadal holds the most important Monte Carlo Masters records: number of finals played (12), number of titles won (11), number of matches played (79) and most wins (73).
