April is more stable than March, the weather is clearly warming, and extreme summer events have a very low frequency. In April, it was -26 degrees in the mountains, and on the Danube it was also over +35, the difference is over 60 degrees!. What did April extremes look like over the past 130 years?
Brief information

- Beche has also recorded two April cold records in the past two years: almost -5 C in 2020 and also in 2022. The lowest temperature recorded anywhere in the country in April was -26 C in 1940 at Ohm.

In Calafat, the thickness of the snow layer was 3 cm, which is an extraordinary fact for an area that constantly records one of the highest temperatures in the country.
- For the past seven years, April has varied greatly from year to year. In 2018 and 2016, it was extremely hot, in 2017 it snowed heavily, in 2020 and 2021 almost the entire country had negative temperatures, and there was also frost at high altitudes.
