At the university hospital Yanina “Fortunately, no serious injuries,” ended a 15-year-old student of the Zosimeya Standard High School after a fall.
According to eyewitnesses, the mesh fence in the school yard broke down, as a result of which the student ended up in a void, falling from a height of about 6 meters.
The school administration called an EKAV ambulance and the student was taken to the emergency department of Ioannina University Hospital, where he remained hospitalized for preventive purposes.
Impressively, according to what has come to light, City Hall was not notified of either the danger of the fence or the incident.
The municipal authorities and the police were informed of the incident, according to reports, and the police authorities initiated a preliminary investigation procedure.
