
Left without a coach following the resignation of Leo Strizou, FCSB announced on Thursday that they had reached an agreement with Elias Charalambous, a technician from Cyprus.

The 42-year-old technician has already taken part in the team’s first training session after coming into contact with the players and members of the technical, medical and administrative staff.
Elias Haralambous was born on September 25, 1980 in South Africa. He began his football career in Cyprus with Omonia Nicosia, where he played professionally from 1999 to 2005, when he signed a contract with PAOK Thessaloniki. After three years in Greece, he returned to Omonia, where he played until September 2011, when he signed a contract with Alki Larnaca.
At the beginning of 2012, he went to Germany, to Karlsruher, and in the summer of the same year he signed a contract with Vaslui, for which he played 18 matches and scored one goal in the 2012-2013 season. He then spent six months at Doxa Katokopias (Cyprus) and APO Levadiakos (Greece), and in August 2014 he signed a contract with AEK Larnaca (Cyprus), where he played until May 2017, when he finished his career ‘eru
He started his coaching activities after his retirement, alternately becoming assistant and head coach of AEK Larnaca (July 2017 – February 2020). He also coached Etnikos Ahnas and Doxa Katokopias, both from Cyprus, as head coach, according to the FCSB.
