Police are investigating after several fragments of human bones, a backpack and several items of clothing were found at the Inelul Doamnei point, at the entrance to Cheile Sohodolului in Runcu commune, the Gorj County Police Inspectorate said on Sunday.

According to the cited source, a person called 112 and reported that she had found several bone fragments in the Runka commune, on the “Women’s Ring”.

“During the visit to the place, the police found several fragments of bones, a backpack and some items of clothing. The police are conducting an investigation as part of criminal proceedings to establish the person’s identity, as well as the reasons and circumstances under which the death occurred,” representatives of IPJ Gorj said, quoted by Agerpres.
