Edi Yordenescu left Yanis Hagi out of the first representative squad for his debut “double” in the preliminary matches of EURO-2024 with Andorra and Belarus. Gike Hagi attacked the selector for the decision, and Yanis was the first to react on social networks to the whole scandal in the national team.

Janis Hagi, a message of support for the tricolor before the double with Andorra and Belarus

Gicke Hagi was extremely concerned that Edi Yordenescu did not call up Iannis for the opening games of the pre-Euro 2024 qualifiers after the former coach attacked the selector during a dig at Digisport.

In a post on his personal Instagram account, Yanis wanted to clarify that he was with colleagues from the Romanian national team before the matches with Andorra and Belarus.

Always with the national team. Forward Romania!“, Yanis wrote on Instagram, adding a photo of our country’s national team, in which he also appears.
