
Unsettled situation in the camp of the status national team of Kosovo, one of Romania’s rivals in the preliminary round of EURO 2024, even before the first official matches.
The president of the Kosovo Football Federation Agim Ademi (70 years old) was arrested along with 70 close associates in a case of tax evasion and money laundering.
Agim Ademi was detained for 48 hours on Wednesday and the authorities launched an investigation that also involves the Federation.
The general secretary of the Pristina Forum, Taulant Hodai, believes that the situation will have a negative impact on the team, which will debut in the preliminary matches of EURO-2024 on Saturday, from 19:00, in Israel.
