
The ship capsized on its side, unsupported, on a maintenance platform in the Port of Edinburgh, injuring 25 people, according to authorities, who say it was a “serious incident”.

“The ambulance service responded to a serious incident at the Leith Docks – the ship was blown away due to strong winds,” a local adviser said.
Ambulance services say about 25 victims. The British newspaper The Sun provides information that refers to missing people.
This is the research vessel The Petrel, which was purchased and equipped by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, who passed away in 2018.
