Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday published a video of the moment when a Russian rocket hit a residential building in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
“Zaporizhzhia. Now he shoots in residential areas where ordinary people and children live. This should not become “just another day” neither in Ukraine nor anywhere in the world,” the President of Ukraine wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday afternoon.

RENEWAL: Almost 20 people were injured as a result of an attack by Russians on a residential building in the city of Zaporizhia, The Guardian reports with reference to Ukrainian officials.
Ukrainian TV and radio company “Suspilne” reported on Wednesday in the last hours of the morning that explosions were heard in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Later, the head of Zelenskyi’s office, Andriy Yermak, confirmed the repeated attack on Zaporizhzhia by Russian troops, noting that several residential buildings were damaged.
Russia launched another massive airstrike on Ukraine early Wednesday, ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s departure from Moscow for a well-publicized official visit.
The new attack on Ukraine is likely to be another “revenge” after Ukrainian forces struck again in Crimea on Monday, during the first day of Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia.
Several Western analysts noted that this attack was a new blow to the image of Vladimir Putin, precisely during the reception of the most important head of state, who came to Moscow after the start of the war in Ukraine.
