Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of Economic Diplomacy and Foreign Relations Kostas Fragoyiannis is visiting Ankara on Wednesday, where he will hold a working meeting with his Turkish counterpart Burak Aksapar to promote dialogue with Turkey on the positive economic agenda and the commercial sector.
This is the fourth meeting of the two Deputy Ministers under the Positive Agenda Initiative, which was agreed between the Greek and Turkish Foreign Ministers Nikos Dendias and Mevlut Cavusoglu in April 2021 and opened with the first meeting of the two Deputy Ministers in Kavala, May 28-29 of the same year. .
The second meeting of Mr. Fragoyannis with his then Turkish counterpart Sendat Onal took place in Antalya on June 16, 2021, and the third in Athens on February 21, 2022.
The meeting will discuss the progress made on the 25 topics of the positive agenda and identify the way forward.
