
President of Brazil Luis Inacio Lula da Silva will visit her China this month, accompanied by a delegation of 240 business representatives, including 90 from the agricultural sector, a senior Foreign Ministry official said today.
Trade Development Minister Daniel Fernandez said at a press conference that all ministries will be represented during a visit to Beijing and Shanghai from March 26 to 30.
Eduardo Samboya, Secretary of the Asia Pacific and Russian Ministry, said Brazil hopes to diversify its trade relationship with China, the biggest buyer of Brazilian exports, mainly soybeans and iron ore.
