The automaker has announced that Dacia’s largest SUV will be built in Romania at the Mioveni plant and will be heavily inspired by the Dacia Bigster concept. Dacia did not mention whether the Bigster name will be retained for the production model, but it has confirmed that the SUV – Dacia’s largest model – will be produced in the country and will hit the market in 2025.

“The upcoming C-segment SUV will be built on the CMF-B platform,” Dacia announced in a press release.

With the presentation of the Renaulution strategic plan on January 14, 2021, Dacia’s desire to expand the model range and confirm its presence in the European C segment was announced.

“To realize this goal in practice, it was decided that the future model based on the Bigster concept will be produced at the factory in Mioven. True to the spirit of Dacia, the new strong and spacious SUV will be presented in 2025,” says the Dacia press release.
