Authorities have proceeded to arrest a 47-year-old man for sexual acts with a girl under the age of 12, abuse of a minor under the age of 12 (consecutively), and domestic bodily harm.

The detainee lived with a minor (he was her mother’s partner) in the Kalamaria region from 2017 until around mid-April 2018. Police officers of the Crime Prevention and Suppression Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate discovered and arrested a 47-year-old man in Volvi on Tuesday evening (14.03) on the basis of a warrant issued by the regular investigator of Thessaloniki.

The arrested person was brought before the competent judicial authorities and taken into custody in accordance with the decision of the appellate prosecutor.
