At the end of last year, eggs arrived in Romania at the highest price in 16 years, according to data from the European Commission. 208 euros costs 100 kilograms of eggs, and this price, according to European data, did not decrease much even in the first months of this year.

However, Romania is holding up well in the wave of rising prices, being the third cheapest egg market in Europe after Cyprus and Latvia.

In order to increase the price, the price of eggs has risen seriously everywhere. Not only Europe, but also the United States and other parts of the world have been facing serious price increases for these products for quite some time now.

According to experts, the price of eggs depends on many aspects, the two most important of which are the price of fodder grain and the incidence of bird flu.
