A 12-year-old boy from Bacău county was locked in a cage by several colleagues in April 2022. The child’s father released photos of his son being attacked, claiming that almost a year later, neither the police nor The County School inspectorate had taken any action, news.ro reported. Three teenagers aged between 14 and 16 at the time of the crime are being investigated for assault and imprisonment, IPJ Bacău reports.

The child’s father, who gave consent for the images to be released, explaining that he wanted “such facts not to be repeated”, said the images were taken at the Technological High School in the city of Parinsea.

The man claims that the school directorate has another film, shot on the same day, in which the boy is beaten with sticks stuck into the fence, and the aggressors shout at him: “Bad dog!”.

“There is another video that I saw with the former director, which neither the former director nor the director who is now (in office – no) wanted to give. The video shows a child in a cage crying and shouting: “Dad, come help!”, “I’ll tell you, dad.” And there were several children near the cage, but these four were with sticks, beating him and saying “Bad dog”. The school directorate has a video. They didn’t want to give them to us,” he said on Monday to the father of the injured child.

IPJ Bacău states that the three children, who were between 14 and 16 years old at the time of the events, are under investigation for beating or other violence and deprivation of liberty.

The case is being investigated under the supervision of the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office at the Bacău Court. The police specify that the procedure during the investigation of criminal proceedings is confidential, stressing that “according to the results of the investigation, the materials will be transferred to the unit (prosecutor’s office – no) with a proposal, according to the results of the case review. all the evidence.”

Instead, the child’s father claims that there are four children who attacked his son, and he does not understand why only three are being investigated.

“There are four children: two brothers and two others. My child was sitting on a bench, they grabbed her from behind, took her, beat her,” said the boy’s father.

He emphasized that he proposed to file a criminal case on behalf of the General School Inspector of the Bacau County School Inspectorate, Ana-Maria Egarmin, whom he accuses of not being involved.
