Police tweeted that a massive operation is underway

In a new tweet, the German police state that “there is no reliable information about the motives of the crime yet. We ask that you do not share baseless assumptions and/or spread rumors.”

OUR Mayor of Hamburg Peter Tschencherexpressed his deepest sympathy to the families of the victims.

“Police are working to arrest the perpetrators and find out what happened,” he tweeted.
